and not a drop you can sail on.

i haven’t posted in quite some time. i’d like to blame it on being too busy but i fear the real truth is that i just miss the crew and lovely oblivion which makes it hard to write about them or her.

as i type this post, i am in northeastern south dakota on my in-law’s cattle ranch and farm. just about as far away from oblivion (and any sailing for that matter) as i care to be. it’s cold outside (20 degrees Fahrenheit) and much of the land is covered in water. a good thing for a sailor but not for a rancher.

anyway, seeing all the water and being landlocked has me remembering my time on/with oblivion.

i love the fact that you and i can keep up with the antics and adventures here at the website. hopefully many of you will get a chance to participate in those antics and adventures by visiting the crew and the boat. oblivion likes guests. And the crew, well they like most guests. go visit them. you won’t regret it.

jeff has been giving me some grief about not posting much. i’ll work on getting better about that. they’ve told a lot of stories but i’ve got a few to share (even though this is a family-friendly blog). so, i’ll start working on those. until then, get yourself over to kayak.com and start planning your trip south of the border.
