Now now, Sammy. You are, as usual, the exception to the rule. Regular phone calls and emails!

Good point Sam. I'm in the same camp... After the daily grind has made me numb, unfortunately comfortable numb (right Jeff?), no energy to keep up those great relationships... after all these years I still struggle w/the balance. I have a new perspective, however, after learning about those BMDs.... Thanks for the detail, Jeff!

How can we get ahold of you now? How is it that you can text if you have no operational phone? Can we call the international phone or not? Do tell!

Speaking for only myself, it's easy to get wrapped up in the daily grind and it's hard enough to find the time to get together with those friends you're lucky enough to live in close proximity to. Long distances just make things harder, much harder. Now, add in the international angle and it only increases the difficulty of connecting. Anyway, it's a rather lame excuse for not at least emailing more. Sorry about that, bro! I'll be better in the future, I promise. If only you'll give me that phone number.
